6 A.M.
By Anonymous
Orange,
Orange.
Burning orange.
Blazing Fire
Split the night.
6 A.M.
Morning warmth,
Break of day
In burnt dawn light.
Sleep,
Sleep,
Foreign sleep,
Never pierced the night.
Heavy now sleep lies in angst
On burning morning eyes
Split the darkness,
Pierce the sky,
Tilt the axis sunbound.
Burn the earth,
Unveil the sun,
Grant the dawn her crown.
Burn,
Burn,
Sunrise burn.
Set the earth ablaze.
Cleanse the world of the night,
Ignite her brightest days.
6 A.M.
Earth’s lasting hope
Demanding to be freed
No twisted mind
Nor troubles find
The beauty of her peace.
I could stay forever
In 6 A.M.’s embrace
Before the trouble of the day
Could douse her fire and grace.
The morning light,
The purest fire
Of being alive,
And free.
It’s 6 A.M.
That wakens me
And calls me home...
To where I am unbroken still,
And free.
Orange,
Orange,
Burning orange.
Blazing fire
Split the night.
6 A.M.
Morning warmth.
Break of day
In burnt dawn light.
